[9/6] 1 INJURED IN OVERNIGHT NORWOOD SHOOTING, POLICE SAY WCPO reports an adult male was found with a gunshot wound after officers responded to Monroe Avenue early Sunday. He was taken to University Hospital; police had no suspect information or condition update. ⬇️

One person was injured in an overnight shooting in Norwood early Sunday morning.

According to the Norwood Police Department, officers were dispatched around 12:24 a.m. to the 2300 block of Monroe Avenue for a reported shooting. They found an adult male with a gunshot wound.

Norwood Fire personnel treated the victim at the scene before he was transported to University Hospital. Police said there was no suspect information or update on the victim’s condition, and the investigation remains ongoing.
