Calhoun and McMillan streets near the University of Cincinnati will close overnight on weekends beginning Friday after multiple shootings near campus.

FOX19 reports that the streets will be blocked between Vine Street and Clifton Avenue each weekend until 4 a.m. Monday. The closures come as UC police and Cincinnati police implement additional safety upgrades following four separate shooting incidents near campus in the previous two weeks.
