[10/12] DRIVER DIES AFTER CRASHING INTO LIGHT POLE NEAR I-74

A 24-year-old Florence man died after his car left an I-74 eastbound exit ramp in Green Township and struck a metal light pole.

Police said Jetly Kincho was driving a red 2015 Chrysler 200 on the Rybolt Road ramp around 2:18 a.m. He was taken to UC Medical Center after firefighters extracted him from the vehicle, but he later died from his injuries.

Police said Kincho was not wearing a seat belt and was the only person in the vehicle. The possible roles of speed, alcohol, and drugs remained under investigation.
